## 1. Subject of the Transport Rules

These Transport Rules govern the conditions under which IKONY DC s.r.o., trading as MOOV Rental, provides domestic and international road freight transport services.

These Transport Rules govern the conditions under which IKONY DC s.r.o. provides road freight transport services.

The provisions apply to all domestic and international transport services.

Any individual agreement concluded with the customer shall take precedence over these Transport Rules.

Any matters not covered by these Transport Rules shall be governed by the applicable laws of the Slovak Republic and the European Union.

## 2. Scope of Services

The company transports individual consignments, palletised goods, machinery, equipment and other commercial goods that are not excluded from transport by applicable legislation.

## 3. Conclusion of the Contract of Carriage

The transport arrangement becomes effective upon acceptance of an order. Orders may be placed by telephone, email or in writing.

The order must include:

- identification details of the customer,
- place of loading,
- place of unloading,
- type and quantity of the goods,
- weight of the consignment,
- requested transport date,
- agreed price or the method used to determine it.

## 4. Obligations of the Carrier

The carrier undertakes to:

- provide a technically roadworthy vehicle,
- provide a professionally qualified driver,
- perform the transport service with due professional care,
- protect the consignment from damage,
- comply with the laws of the Slovak Republic and the European Union,
- maintain the confidentiality of the customer’s business information.

## 5. Obligations of the Customer

The customer is required to:

- provide accurate information,
- ensure that the consignment is suitably packaged,
- correctly label the consignment,
- arrange loading and unloading unless otherwise agreed,
- provide all necessary documents,
- pay the transport charges.

## 6. Loading and Unloading

Unless otherwise agreed, loading and unloading shall be arranged by the customer.

The carrier may refuse to perform the transport service if:

- the consignment has not been loaded safely,
- it exceeds the vehicle’s permitted weight limit,
- it endangers road safety.

## 7. Transport Documents

A CMR consignment note shall be used for international transport.

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of all information stated in the transport documents.

## 8. Prices and Payment Terms

The price of the transport service shall be determined by an individual quotation or contract.

- invoices are payable within the agreed payment period,
- in the event of late payment, the carrier may charge statutory interest on late payment,
- the carrier may request a reasonable advance payment.

## 9. Liability for Damage

The carrier’s liability shall be governed by Act No. 56/2012 Coll. and, in the case of international transport, by the CMR Convention.

The carrier shall not be liable for damage caused by:

- force majeure,
- inadequate packaging,
- incorrect information provided by the customer,
- the inherent nature of the consignment.

## 10. Claims

Claims must be submitted in writing.

A claim must include:

- identification of the consignment,
- a description of the damage,
- the date on which the damage occurred,
- photographic evidence, where available.

## 11. ADR and Prohibited Consignments

The company does not normally transport dangerous goods governed by the ADR Agreement.

In particular, the carrier does not transport:

- explosives,
- radioactive substances,
- biologically hazardous materials,
- other consignments prohibited under applicable legislation.

## 12. Personal Data Protection

Personal data is processed exclusively for the purpose of performing the contract and in accordance with the GDPR and applicable legislation.

## 13. Safety

The company’s drivers are required to:

- comply with road traffic regulations,
- comply with driving-time and rest-period requirements,
- ensure that the load is properly secured,
- regularly check the technical condition of the vehicle.

## 14. Force Majeure

The carrier shall not be liable for delays or an inability to perform the transport service caused by circumstances beyond its control, including, in particular:

- natural disasters,
- war,
- strikes,
- road closures,
- decisions of public authorities.

## 15. Final Provisions

These Transport Rules shall enter into force on 1 July 2026.

These Transport Rules are binding on both the carrier and the customer unless the contracting parties agree otherwise in writing.

These Transport Rules are published on the website [www.moovrental.sk](http://www.moovrental.sk) and are also available for inspection at the company’s registered office.

The carrier reserves the right to amend or supplement these Transport Rules in the event of changes to applicable legislation or business conditions.

Any matters not covered by these Transport Rules shall be governed by Act No. 56/2012 Coll. on Road Transport, the Commercial Code, the Civil Code and the CMR Convention.
